VH1 Save The Music Foundation 2014 Honors Presented By Avnet

NEW YORKJuly 8, 2014 — On July 25th, VH1 and the VH1 Save The Music Foundation along with event chairs, Julie and William Macklowe, will bring a music festival vibe to the Hamptons to raise money for music education programs in public schools with an exclusive event. The event will take place at a private residence with a host committee including, Kelly BensimonMatt BreitenbachTom CalderonePaul Cothran, Joseph & Mireya D’AngeloJeff GoldsteinDebra HalpertPerez HiltonMark MullettBeth OrozcoScott RauchRosanna Scotto & Lou Ruggiero, Gordon & Jennifer SingerMatt SpeilmanLisa Versacio andSamantha Yanks.

The first event of its kind for the Foundation, the summer celebration will honor individuals who personify the spirit of music in their respective fields. Honorees includeCharlie Walk, Executive Vice President of Republic Records, Linda Perry, Singer/ Songwriter/ Producer, Bozoma Saint John, SVP, Head of Global Marketing at Beats Music and Nathan Cohen, Grace A. Dunn Middle School Music Teacher. The evening combines high-energy musical performances with a twist of laid-back, casual luxury – brought to life through the evening’s unique decor, sponsored experiences and live music. Performances throughout the night will include Grace A. Dunn Middle School, a 2012 grant recipient from Trenton, NJDJ Theory, Singer-Songwriter James Bay and VH1 Save The Music Alumni Ambassador, Ingrid Michaelson.

Guests will be able to explore, interact and enjoy a variety of experiences from sponsors including, Avnet, William Hill Estate Wines, Marimekko, Raymond Weil, Alex and Ani, vbeaute, Tequila Don Julio, Corona Extra/Corona LightHenri Bendel, Hamptons Magazine and VOSS Artesian Water from Norway.
