The Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce 7th Annual Holiday Gala-“7 Degrees of Empowerment” Featuring Actor Boris Kodjoe and Hip Hop Legend Rob Base

I was fortunate to attend the 2011 Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce Gala and had a wonderful time! The Movers & Shakers of South Florida all come out for this joyous occasion to network & honor & celebrate the holiday season.

This year the Miami-Dade Chamber will honor 3 individuals who are helping to shape South Florida and have paved the way through what they believe are 7 Degrees of Empowerment.

• H.T. Smith Lifetime Achievement Award : Mr. Fred Jackson, BeecherJackson
• Distinguished Service Award  Honoree: Albert Dotson, Jr., Bilzin Sumberg
• Citizen of the Year Award  Honoree: Eric Poms, Orange Bowl Committee
