The K.Jules Project Hosts Three Emerging Leaders Speak Virtual Sessions in 2014
Dear Impact Agents,
As we quickly come to the end of another great year that God has blessed us with, I reflect on the progress that The K.Jules Project has made this year. It was with great excitement that I launched the first project of The K.Jules Project, Emerging Leaders Speak, a platform I created for emerging leaders to discuss the issues that impact our communities. This year we hosted three virtual Emerging Leaders Speak sessions via twitter allowing emerging leaders from around the country to share their thoughts. Topics discussed included:
- #WhyIAmVoting in this year’s midterm elections
- Juneteenth Edition Breaking the poverty cycle
- National Day of Empowerment: The rising student loan debt crisis
As the Immediate Past President of the Urban League of Broward County Young Professionals Network, I was honored to partner with my chapter in support of their National Day of Empowerment focused on the rising student loan debt crisis.
It is my hope to continue to grow this platform and in 2015, launch the first live event in South Florida.
Thank you to all the Emerging Leaders Guest Twitter Panelist for supporting the vision!
