Women of Power TV Show, Set To Celebrate, Inspire and Empower Dynamic Women of Color, To Premiere October 25

NEW YORK, Oct. 16, 2014 — On October 25, 2014, a brand new, weekly half-hour series, Women of Power, will showcase dynamic and accomplished entrepreneurs, CEOs, moguls, and charismatic leaders representing success and influence from every arena, from sports and entertainment to the corporate boardroom and the halls of political power. The Women of Power television show kicks off with Host Caroline V. Clarke’s exclusive and intimate interview with actor and Blackish Co-Star Tracee Ellis Ross. The national network syndicated show will air every Sunday at 10:30 a.m. in most markets on cable channel TV One  (check local listings). Viewers can also watch the program each week on Black Enterprise.com.

Women of Power is designed to appeal to anyone determined to learn the formula for gaining wealth, health, and success. The show features a top-notch team of reporting talent, led by Clarke, an award-winning journalist, author and speaker (previously host of the network syndicated Black Enterprise Business Report), veteran business journalist Shartia Brantley and lifestyle and entertainment correspondent Dariany Santana.

“Women of color are often still isolated in their industries, their companies, and their communities and that makes life more difficult than it has to be. Produced by Black Enterprise and Central City Productions, this series builds on the popularity of the Black Enterprise Women of Power multimedia franchise, best known for the annual Women of Power Summit. The Summit is America’s preeminent leadership conference for women of color, set to be held at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, March 2-5, 2015. The premiere of Women of Power is an exciting milestone as the Women of Power Summit celebrates its 10th anniversary.
