TEDxMiami 2013: “Be the Difference”

This year TEDxMiami celebrates the power of innovation and the different viewpoints which innovators bring to longstanding problems.  Our speakers will provoke you to Live Differently, Work Differently, Play Differently, Learn Differently, and most importantly, to Be the Difference. TEDxMiami annually brings together South Florida’s leading thinkers and doers for a night of riveting talks and inspired connections at its Fall Conference.  Now in its fourth year, TEDxMiami showcases the cultural and intellectual vitality blossoming in Miami by introducing you to speakers who, in 5 to 15 minutes, share their “Ideas Worth Spreading.”

About TEDx, x = independently organized event
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized. (Subject to certain rules and regulations.)
