The National Urban League Young Professionals Leadership Training Weekend is designed for Young Professional Presidents, leaders and future lea
ders interested in honing their leadership skills. The NULYP Leadership Weekend seeks to provide tools to increase affiliate support, young professionals engagement, chapter growth and individual leadership skills.
This year’s conference was held in Atlanta, Georgia at the Atlanta Marriott Buckhead & Conference Center. Workshops included: Funding Your Chapter Success, Building
Relationships From Strategic Planning To Success, Project Management From Start to Finish to name a few. Conference attendees were treated with keynote addresses from the National Urban League President and CEO, Marc Morial & Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed.
Attendees were also treated with a special sneak peak of the documentary film “Power Broker:The Whitney M Young Story” and “42” the life story of Jackie Robinson set to release Spring 2013. And the evenings were filled with social mixers allowing members and
supporters of the movement to connect.
This is defintely a KJules Leadership Conference Favorite!
